Old dogs have a special place in my heart. So I decided to reach out and ask some pawrents to write a little story about their lost loved one accompanied by a photo so we can celebrate them in memory. Here is the first story......

Elmer was adopted as a senior in 2013 after being found as a stray in Queens. He was part Chihuahua and definitely a tough little guy. Elmer's favorite thing to do was to enjoy the city streets and all the scents they had to offer. He had a cute curly tail and a runway prance that turned heads.

He had an epic butt wiggle for his Mom and Dad which began on the first day they met. His enthusiasm was a true joy to be a part of.

Elmer was a STAR!
